The day before the conference officially opens, Safe Software invites all certified Partners to begin Peak week with the exclusive 2027 Partner Summit. Join us for a full day of learning, connection, and fresh insights, rounded off with a Partner Appreciation Dinner.
Tuesday March 9, 2027
Get a head start with our Tuesday morning Pre-Conference Training workshops. Available as an optional add-on (£90) to any conference pass, these expert-led courses (taught by the Safe Software team and our trusted Partners) are a great way to sharpen your FME skills before the event officially begins.
The Peak of Data & AI 2027 officially kicks off at 1:00 PM. Check-in opens at 12:00 PM, giving attendees time to collect their badge and settle in before gathering at the main stage for the first Plenary Sessions of the event.
Following a series of inspiring keynote sessions, the evening is yours. Wrap up for the day, or take some time to explore London before returning to the conference centre for an optional, complimentary AI Skills Workshop over light bites, open to all registered conference attendees.
Wednesday March 10, 2027
Day 2 is packed with chances to learn, explore, and connect. With over 50 breakout sessions planned, you’ll hear from real-world FME users tackling data challenges from around the globe.
Between sessions, explore FME Basecamp, a bustling hub for discovery and connection. Drop by the themed stations at your own pace: get hands-on technical support, talk through business challenges with experts, learn about programs like the FME Community, visit sponsor lounges, or take a moment to recharge.
After an action-packed day, unwind with us at the Conference Social Hour, held right at the conference centre with light bites and drinks.
Thursday May 8, 2025
On the final day of the Peak, attendees will spend the morning attending breakout sessions. After lunch, the conference will wrap up with the final plenary sessions of the conference.

Learn From FME Experts
Gain first-hand FME knowledge from FME Experts from Safe Software and instructors from our trusted Partner Network.
Scroll through our selection of Pre-Conference Training courses below:
Getting Started with FME
Are you new to FME? This course introduces the essential components and capabilities of FME through hands-on problem-solving exercises. It is a great start toward becoming an efficient FME user. Learn how to integrate with spreadsheets and spatial data without any coding. No prior FME or GIS experience is required.
Data Virtualization with FME
Data virtualization abstracts data so an application can retrieve and process it without needing to know the underlying technical details. Our new data virtualization features in FME Form and Flow make it easy for organizations to expose their data via an API, enabling them to build applications. Come to this course to learn how to use FME to abstract data access and create your own API.
Advanced Automations in FME Flow
Take your FME Flow automations to the next level. This course goes beyond the basics of scheduling and triggering workspaces, delving into advanced automation patterns that power robust, production-grade data pipelines. Topics covered include using Automation Parameters to pass dynamic values between automation nodes, leveraging the Automations Writer to emit messages and data from within a running workspace, structuring complex workflows using the Split-Merge Block, dynamic parameters, and designing fault-tolerant automations with error handling and notifications. Practical exercises throughout the session build toward a complete, real-world automation scenario participants can adapt for their own use cases.
FME Form Best Practices
Working faster and smarter in FME Workbench isn’t just about knowing the right transformers — it’s about how you design, test, and maintain your workspaces. This focused, hands-on course covers four core productivity techniques that intermediate FME Form users can put to work immediately: Feature Caching and Partial Runs, Workspace Comparison, and bookmarks, annotations, and layout conventions that make workspaces readable and maintainable by the whole team. Attendees will leave with habits they can apply the very next time they open FME Workbench.
Nothing Is Impossible: Engineering Advanced FME Scenarios
In this hands-on workshop, you’ll take an FME scenario from raw input to finished, presentable output: decomposing a problem into FME steps, deciding which tool to use, and shipping something useful. Example scenarios include turning a folder of unlabeled scanned historic maps into a self-describing archive, cloud-optimized point clouds into an on-demand browser view or augmented reality experience, and a scanned legal document into genuine parcel geometry and attributes.
Powering up your FME Workspaces with Python (delivered by con terra)
Learn how to use simple Python scripts to accomplish tasks beyond what’s possible with standard FME tools and transformers. Through practical coding exercises, you will execute Python scripts before, after, and during an FME translation. With FME supporting Python 3 for years, you will continue to be able to integrate Python into your FME workflows.
Management of FME Engines in an Enterprise Environment
A modern hybrid cloud infrastructure will have data and processing spread across multiple environments. The key to optimizing data management across these environments is to move processing to the data, rather than dragging the data across the network to processing. Significant investment has been made in FME Flow and Engines to enable FME to be deployed in a modern distributed manner while still managed simply from one interface. This course will give you a core view of what is possible and a baseline understanding of how to manage multiple engines across different environments from a single FME Flow dashboard.
